Why you can rely on these listings
- Details are checked. Services, hours and features come from each shop’s own website or a submission, and anything we can’t confirm is left out.
- Sources are named. Every shop page says where its information came from.
- Dates are shown. Every listing shows the date its details were last checked.
- Listings are free. Every shop can be listed at no cost. Paid Verified listings are coming soon, and they will never be a rating or change the facts shown. How listings work
Questions
How much does a car repair cost?
Each shop sets its own prices. Ask for a written, itemized estimate before work starts and for a call before any extra work. We never estimate prices.
What does ASE certified mean?
ASE (the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) tests and certifies individual technicians. Listings show ASE certification when the shop publishes it.
Should I use a dealer or an independent shop?
Routine maintenance at an independent shop does not void a new-car warranty in the US, as long as the work follows the maker’s schedule. Warranty and recall repairs go to the dealer.
What does Verified mean?
Verified listings are paid. We check the shop’s state repair-shop registration where the state keeps one and confirm the details with the owner, then label the listing and show it first. It is never a rating.
