Every auto repair shop can have a free Basic listing. Verified is a paid plan coming soon: we check the state repair-shop registration with the state agency that keeps it, such as California’s Bureau of Automotive Repair (in states with no register, we confirm ownership using the phone number or website email already on the listing), and confirm the details with the owner, then label the listing Verified and show it first in its city and category lists. Verified will never be a rating, and payment will never change the facts we publish.

### Is a Basic listing really free?

Yes, and it stays free. We will never hide a correct Basic listing because a nearby auto repair shop paid.

Verified is coming soon. Until then every listing is a free Basic listing, and you can add or correct yours at any time.

### Will paying change what you publish?

No. Verified will buy the label, the check and a place above Basic listings. It will never buy a rating, a review or changed facts.

### How are listings ordered?

The most complete listings come first, then A to Z. Once Verified launches, Verified listings will be shown above Basic.
